Understanding the Repatriation Journey
When a loved one is repatriated from Singapore, the journey follows a clear path. Here is what families can expect at each stage:
Singapore — Departure Point
Your loved one is prepared at our premises, documents are finalised, and the hermetically sealed casket is transported to Changi Airfreight Centre for cargo handling.
Changi Airport — Air Cargo Departure
The casket is loaded as HUM (Human Remains) cargo onto the airline. The flight departs Singapore Changi Airport with a dedicated Air Waybill (AWB) number.
Transit Airport (if applicable)
For destinations requiring a connecting flight, the cargo may transit through an intermediate airport. Milestone notifications are sent at each transit point.
Destination Airport — Arrival
The flight arrives at the destination airport. Customs clearance and cargo handover are coordinated by the receiving funeral home.
Receiving Funeral Home Coordination
Our appointed partner funeral home at the destination receives your loved one and coordinates onward arrangements for the final farewell.
Final Destination
Your loved one is transported to the family home, funeral parlour, or place of worship for the final farewell and ceremonies.
Please note: Tracking availability depends on the individual case, airline data feeds, and flight route. We will always inform you of the expected timeline and notify you of key milestones, even if live tracking is limited for a particular flight.

How do I track my loved one's repatriation flight?
Once your case is confirmed and a flight is booked, you will receive a Decedent Tracking ID (e.g., EH-JOHNDOE) via WhatsApp. Visit our Case Status portal and enter your tracking ID to view the flight status, departure and arrival times, and milestone updates.
Can I track the flight before it departs?
You can view the scheduled flight information once the airline confirms the booking. Live tracking begins when the flight departs Singapore Changi Airport and continues until arrival at the destination airport.
Does tracking work for all repatriation flights?
Tracking availability depends on the airline, flight route, and whether the carrier provides real-time cargo data. Most major airlines operating HUM cargo from Singapore support tracking. We will inform you if tracking is limited for your specific flight.
What if the flight has a transit stop?
If the flight includes a transit stop, tracking will show each leg of the journey — from Singapore to the transit airport, and from the transit airport to the final destination. Milestone notifications are sent at each stage.
Will I be notified when the flight arrives?
Yes. We send automated WhatsApp and SMS milestone notifications when the flight departs, is in transit, and arrives at the destination airport. For Malaysia overland transport, live driver GPS tracking is also available.
